Cooking Dash DinerTown Studios

Dear Mom:

Dear Mom: What I wouldn’t give right now for a plate of your spaghetti and meatballs. The food here was obviously meant to feed the pigs, although to tell you the truth, I’m not even sure they would touch this stuff. I’m dreaming of mountains of lasagna, roast turkey, and pumpkin pie. But as I count the days left until I can come home for winter break, I’ve decided to try the new Dinertown game to hold me over. Now, the other Dinertown games weren’t that much fun for me before, so I had my doubts about just how challenging a game this was going to be. As I told you many times before, I’m an expert at time management games, although I’m not sure you know what those are yet… yes, it’s those computer games I play. Yes, I made sure all of my homework was done before I played… yes, my room is clean. No, I’m not eating enough... weren’t you listening? Send food now! Anyhow, as I was saying, putting my doubts aside, I began playing Cooking Dash Dinertown Studios. I was pleasantly surprised at the setup. Of course, the main character is still Flo, but grandma is there to help you cook too. Your restaurant is on the set of your friend’s new show and your job is to cater to all the stars and crew. In the kitchen, there is so much stuff to do! You have a fryer, a grill, an ice cream maker, a meat grinder, and a prep table where grandma prepares additional dishes. A big challenge was trying not to burn the food… and mom, just because I burn grilled cheese, does not mean I can’t cook… well OK maybe it does. Anyhow so if you leave the food in the fryer too long or on the grill too long, you can burn it. And if you put the wrong combination on the plate, there is no way to fix it! You have to start all over again. And talk about fast paced action! I think that Flo and grandma could beat even you in the kitchen mom! No, I’m not saying the food is better… I would never suggest that. Yes, you’re the best cook ever. No one comes close. OK, I’ll shut up now… Anyhow, as I was saying, Flo runs around like crazy serving guests, preparing food, and snapping pictures of movie stars. After each board, you can upgrade your kitchen wares or decorate the place. Take it from me, while it’s nice if the place looks better, spend the money on the upgrades first, specifically making Flo and grandma go faster! Things really start to speed up when the impatient business women start showing up. They want their food and they want it an hour ago! So mom, I want you to know that I was a pro at this game and hopefully it will help me in the kitchen when I come home. I look at it as a kind of training really… Anyhow, in conclusion dear mother, while the game is great fun, it still is no substitute for your home cooking. Your loving daughter, Morgan P.S.
