Dirty Dancing- the Game-Review

Similarly to Lara, I have my own fond connections with a recent game release linked to memories of high school. I came down with mono my sophomore year and one of the satellite stations was having a Dirty Dancing marathon. I must have seen it five or six times that week.

Similarly to Lara, I have my own fond connections with a recent game release linked to memories of high school. I came down with mono my sophomore year and one of the satellite stations was having a Dirty Dancing marathon. I must have seen it five or six times that week. I was really excited when I saw they had released a casual game version of Dirty Dancing. Visions of Patric Swayze firmly lifting me into the air... The best part of the game are all the little nostalgic visual cues. That's really just a nice way of saying the game pretty much sucked. It tries to be a mix of various genres, but doesn't really succeed at any of them. The dancing aspect of the game is the most disappointing. My visions were dashed. The game is still worth checking out if you're a die-hard fan. I definitely had some good laughs and was tested in the trivia area. But don't expect a lot of high quality game-play. Initially I was excited to write the guide for this game, but unfortunately its not worthy.
