Doors of the Mind: Inner Mysteries Review

Big news, I now love NCAA Basketball. Did you know the NCAA Basketball tournament started yesterday? Do you care? I don’t care about it at all and I know nothing about basketball, but everyone was picking teams to win on their bracket thingies so I decided to play too.

Big news, I now love NCAA Basketball. Did you know the NCAA Basketball tournament started yesterday? Do you care? I don’t care about it at all and I know nothing about basketball, but everyone was picking teams to win on their bracket thingies so I decided to play too. During yesterday’s session, “the tutor” saw my bracket on the table and made fun of my picks. I talked trash back to him. It was so much fun! Fast forward to just before 11 o’clock last night. I get a txt from him. I’d like to share that conversation with you now. Don’t worry, these are not as risqué as Tiger Woods txts. Tutes: How did you pick OHIO & MURRY ST??? Me: I know my BBall ;) Tutes: They just said you are in first place by 4 picks right now! Me: Nice! Where are you? Tutes: You don’t want to know. Me: I don’t have a TXT plan. Call me in the next 15 mins or call me tomorrow. Yes, OMG I told him to call me and can you believe it, he did! We got to talking and apparently there were two major upsets and I was the only one to pick them. When I told him how I picked them, I could actually hear him smacking his hand to his forehead in disgust LOL. 13 Murray St. beat 4 Vanderbilt and 14 Ohio beat 3 Georgetown. I told him when I was a little girl, we had a dog named Murry and my dad was a Seton Hall fan and he hates Georgetown, so I didn’t pick them because my dad hates them. Then I offered up my most gutsy line ever. “Maybe you can tutor me in econ and I can tutor you in Bball!” He laughed, but then said we should get together to watch some of the games. I’ll keep you posted!!! Anyway, since there was no way I was going to sleep after that, I decided to play a game. I purchased Doors of the Mind: Inner Mysteries. It’s a spooky little game, but I really liked it. It’s a hidden object game, with a pretty good story. You go to a Dream Therapist and he hypnotizes you to figure out why you are having horrible nightmares. The spot the differences were a little rough. Some of the differences were so tiny that it took me a minute even after I asked for a hint. The music changes from scene to scene and there are always objects moving on the screen. I was waiting for something to pop-out and scare me the whole time. There were some cool things about the game. If you clicked wrong too many times the screen would go blurry for a few seconds. It reminded me of watching my brother play Eternal Darkness on GameCube growing up. I played for about 2 hours before I had to pass out. I got to day 4 in the game. I’m not sure how many more levels are left, but I’m having a lot of fun with it. I was worried the scary music would give me nightmare of freak me out so I wouldn’t be able to sleep. I’m looking forward to finishing the game this weekend.
