I got a chance to play and review Goldeb Trails 2: The Lost Legacy (Collector's Edition).

I got a chance to play and review Goldeb Trails 2: The Lost Legacy (Collector's Edition). The story of the game revolves around a grandson attempting to understand the circumstances around his grandfather’s arrest. The five chapters of the game lead you on a world-wide adventure. Your first stop is England where the arrest takes place, next you head off to Spain, the Caribbean, South American and Maghreb. Unlike most hidden object games, you do not go by a list of words, but you search by the actual picture. You would think this would make it easier, but trust me, it doesn't! The hidden object areas were definitely moderately hard to hard, and I'm a pro! My only problem is the person who hand drew this game had a definite fascinations with big, ugly, disgusting spiders! Otherwise, the graphics were great! The puzzles range from easy to moderately hard. A twist to the game is the hint feature. Need more hints? Wait for a bandit to pop up and shoot him! No, really, you do! I thought this was a very unique way to earn hints, something I've never seen in another hidden object game before. Another fun part of the game is collecting hidden clovers. If you collect them all, you can unlock a secret mission. You can also collect trophies throughout the game for various accomplishments such as finishing an area with no hints, etc. The bonus content, available only in the collector's edition, includes wallpapers, the making of the game, shooting gallery, a built in game guide, audio from the game, and a bonus episode. The game is very well done and the tutorial is very informative, which you can turn off if you don't need it. There are different modes to play in, the regular adventure mode, or a unlimited mode where you try and find objects as fast as you can. I have to say this a great game and I would recommend it. The game is developed by AWEM Studio and you can purchase the game at www.awem.com. Don't forget to check out the first game in the series also, Golden Trails: The New Western Rush.
