Orchard Review

Its pouring rain here so weekend beach plans may have to be punted. But we are going to a new Mexican Restaurant tonight for my birthday - rain can't stop that.

Its pouring rain here so weekend beach plans may have to be punted. But we are going to a new Mexican Restaurant tonight for my birthday - rain can't stop that. I tend to enjoy the farming games, so I wanted to play Orchard. The tutorial didn't really draw me in right away, but after I got through the tutorial the game got better. Its not as hectic as Farm Frenzy. Its definitely more relaxing and while there are goals to meet you don't feel a whole bunch of pressure to meet them within a certain amount of time. So it can be a nice balance if you want a break from some of the more harried time management games. You also get to manage a host of workers, which I enjoyed since I'm a natural delegator. Any worker can do any job but they all have there certain specialties. It takes awhile to get used to this style of gameplay, but I found I enjoyed it. So whatever the weather is like where you are at, give this game a try. You might like it. One thing I didn't like: no option for a male protagonist. Guys play casual games too!
